Beloved Pastor Joseph Bulgin Passes to His Rest, Leaving a Profound Void in the Ontario Conference
With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Pastor Joseph Bulgin, a deeply respected pastor of the Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Pastor Bulgin peacefully fell asleep in Jesus at approximately 4:15 pm on June 23, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and an immense void in the hearts of his family and the Ontario Conference community.
Pastor Joseph Bulgin is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia, his three children, Jason, Kimberly and Laurie Ann, as well as his adored grandchildren. Their grief is shared by the people he touched throughout his remarkable journey.
Pastor Bulgin was dedicated to spreading the message of God's love. From 1982 to 1989, he worked as a literature evangelist in the Ontario, Alberta, and Maritime Conferences. In 1990, he joined the Ontario Conference team, continuing his unwavering commitment to service.
Throughout his ministry, the Holy Spirit worked powerfully through Pastor Bulgin's teachings and preaching, allowing him the privilege to lead countless lives to find solace, hope, and salvation by completely surrendering to Jesus.
Ontario Conference President Jakov Bibulovic expressed his heartfelt condolences, saying, "Pastor Joseph Bulgin was a faithful servant of the Lord, leaving an indelible legacy in every church he pastored. There was nothing that could deter him from his ministry, neither illness nor the challenges posed by COVID restrictions. God used him mightily, resulting in Pastor Bulgin having the most baptisms in the Ontario Conference in 2021."
During his ministry in Ontario, Pastor Bulgin served at multiple churches, including Brampton, Ruth, Philadelphia, Shiloh, and most recently, Ajax. His devotion to shepherding congregations, offering unwavering support, and demonstrating the love of Christ was evident throughout his time in these communities.
As we grieve this significant loss, we request that the Ontario Conference community and all who were touched by Pastor Bulgin's ministry keep his beloved wife, children, and the entire family in their thoughts and prayers.

FIRST THINGS FIRSTWhat We Believe
As a Christian church, Seventh-day Adventists are a faith community rooted in the beliefs described by the Holy Scriptures. The Word of God is the only source for our fundamental beliefs and understanding of the nature of who God is. All our beliefs are biblically-based and supported by Holy Scripture.
|
WHO ARE WEOur Name
"Ajax" is a town located in the Durham region of Ontario, a province in Canada. "Seventh-day" refers to our belief in the Seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday). "Adventist" refers to our belief in the second coming of Christ. "Community" refers to our community-based focus on bringing souls to Jesus.

IT'S UP TO USChange
Every church has a mission to spread goodness and kindness into a world where evil is widespread and celebrated. God's love is more than capable of softening the hearts of people who are hardened by sin. Our mission is to introduce people into a loving, soul-saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
